"What I think about often...."
Trying to take a good photo of 3-year-old JB is close to impossible.
He can't sit still; forget about asking him to pose!
He says "CHEESE!" with a smile and not even looking at the camera.
AAAhhhh~~! He doesn't even care what I feel like or what I try to accomplish with my camera. So, here are the tips that I came up with on "how to take pictures of a toddler."
1) Make him sit down rather than standing. Less wiggles to deal with.
2) Keep talking to him with a bunch of questions, instead of asking him to say "Cheese"
3) Count on the power of treats! Thank goodness for M&Ms!
4) Do NOT give up! Wait and wait for the moment.
I am also very thankful for digital cameras. What would I do without them! I can take 100 pictures hoping maybe one will work out. I couldn't have done that with our old camera. What a luxury!
So, here are the pictures that I thought came out well. The first two are not fixed. He posed?! on his own. I got a cute smile out of him when I asked him,"how many M&Ms do you want?" If I can get a big smile (his true happy smile!) out of him like the last picture, I say my hard work has paid off.
