Westchester Magazine has a list of Westchester's bests. Bronxville was selected as the best downtown in the county. So I picked this little town for our Friday date to go check things out.
Like all other little towns here, there were many small shops, and I love the atmosphere of the quaint streets.
It was just fun walking on the street and looking at the different window decorations. After walking for a while, we decided to have a lunch break at a deli. I orderd a Chiken Cutlet sandwich and a bowl of Mahattan Clam Chowder. The sandwich was just OK, but we liked the chuncky soup very much.
The last shop we stopped at was a fun gift shop called "Blue Tulip." There was lots of cute stuff that caught my attention, and JB was getting really bored. Why do men dislike shopping so much? At age 3, JB is already showing the signs of it. Well, the kind store clark saw it and gave a blue tulip candy to JB. He was all happy after that since he doesn't get to eat that kind of candy at home.
On the way back to the car, we found patches of snow on the grounds at a church. JB wanted to play in it for a while, but it was frozen solid from the cold weather. When is Spring coming to our way??
