summer vacation

今週末から長い夏休みに入ります。
バケーションの前半は今年も日本で過ごし、７月末にNYに戻ってくる予定です。
それまでブログはお休みします。

"summer vacation"
The long summer vacation is finally here! Just as we enjoyed it last year, we will spend the first half of our summer in Japan and are planning to return to NY at the end of July. Until then, my blog will be on holiday as well. Take care!

美味しいロブスターをもとめて・・・

来週火曜日から新学期が始まります。
その前に、3連休を利用してちょっと旅にでます。
美味しいロブスター・ロールが食べれるといいな～。
何を勘違いしているのか、ＪＢは野球道具一式をスーツケースに詰め込んでいましたが・・・
綺麗な海岸線でも眺めながらゆっくりしてこようと思います。

平井堅のライブで、彼が奏でる歌声に酔いしれてしまった私たちでした・・・

Before school starts next week, we are going to take a small trip up north. I am hoping for a tasty lobster roll and a relaxing time by the beach. JB must have his own idea for a vacation. He is packing full baseball gear, gloves, balls, and a baseball bat and all....

夏休み

夏休みの前半は日本で過ごすことにしました。
2年ぶりの日本!　ゆっくりしてこようと思います。
・・・・ということで、当ブログしばらくの間お休みします。
7月末頃戻る予定ですので、それまでお元気で～。

春休み

今日から一週間ほど、ユタのグランマのおうちに行って来ます。
Ｙａｈｏｏのお天気予報によると、ニューヨークより少し暖かいみたいです。
やった～ぁ！
おそとでイトコーズとたくさん遊べるといいね。

"Spring Break"
We are off to Grandma's house in Utah. We will be gone for a week. The weather seems much nicer there, so I hope that JB will get to play outside with his cousions. Take care!

マカロンと感謝の気持ち

先日、友人Hさんから美味しいマカロンを頂きました。
すごくうれしかったです。
不安の塊で始まったニューヨーク生活でしたが、
たくさんの出会いに恵まれて、母子共に素敵なお友だちがたくさんできました。
そんなお友だちがいたからこそ、新しい土地ニューヨークで子育てを頑張ることができ、
毎日の生活を楽しんでこられたのだと思います。
今日は、そのお友だちへの感謝の気持ちでいっぱい。
ありがとう。
そして、これからもどうぞよろしく♪

"Macarons & a Thankful Heart"
Aren't these beautiful? One of my Japanese friends gave me these the other day. As many of you know, I LOVE macarons! What a delicious surprise that was! Thank you so much!
Well, about 10 months ago, we started our new lives here in New York. We were scared and worried about a lot of things at first. I am so thankful that we were able to meet so many wonderful friends here. Because of them, we have been able to enjoy living here. So, today my heart is full of gratitude for my new friends here in New York. What a blessing they are to me!

来週の木曜日にあるJBの入園式までには、戻ってくる予定。

We are off to the Cape this afternoon. So excited!
Since JB's preschool will start next Thursday, we will be back for that. So, until then, this blog will take a short vacation.

これから日本へ飛び立ちます。

Spring Break♪

今日これから、お隣の国「メキシコ」へ遊びに行ってきます♪
↑は、去年の夏訪れた、ハワイ・カウアイ島のビーチです。
青い空、青い海、真っ白いビーチを満喫しながら、ボーっとしてこようと思います。
今回、なんと夫Ｓはお留守番。初めてＪＢとの２人旅です。
でも、あちらで私のホストファミリーと合流する予定。
と～ってもにぎやかな一週間になりそうです。
ということで、当ブログ、来週半ばまでお休みさせていただきます。
それまで、皆さんお元気で～。

"Spring Break"
I'm leaving for Mexico today. The picture above was taken in Kauai last summer. I just want to soak myself in the warm sun and enjoy the blue sky, blue ocean and the white sand beach! This is my first trip with JB without my husband. But we are meeting up with my host family over there. It is going to be a very fun week!　　So, this blog will be on spring break until I get back next week.
