"Aqua Stadium @ Shinagawa"
First of all, I must apologize for not posting the last week or so. It has been sooo hot over here, and I was too lazy.
Anyway, here is another post from my Japan trip.
JB and I went to Tokyo to meet up with our friends from LA. It had been 7 months since we saw them last. We visited this small aquarium in Shinagawa. If you are comparing this place to the Long Beach Aquarium or San Diego Seaworld, it is very small. But we still had a blast checking out the amazing sea creatures. Our favorite part was feeding time. It was fun to watch those rays eat a squid or a small fish for lunch. JB didn't move much. He just stood there and observed the whole action. After that, we laughed and clapped our hands at the seal show and the dolphin show. They were both great, but the best part was when a man came out and started passing out clean white towls to those people who had been splashed with water. ONLY IN JAPAN this could happen, I thought. There were signs everywhere warning people that they will get wet if you sit in the "wet zone." They also sold rain coats for cheap at a shop. But still.....this is called "extra-mile" service. Wow! I was moved.
Anyhoo, JB and I had a fun time with our friends. T&S-san, we look forward to seeing you again next year in Japan! Thanks.
